Peoble With Disabilities

Access for all

As a rule, Stevnsfort Cold War Museum is accessible to everybody – and naturally, this includes visitors with disabilities. Feel free to call us to hear more about the possibilities, including the museum's companion service.

Walking-impaired people

Walking-impaired people have access to the underground fortress by lift, and there are wheelchair ramps to all rooms that are visited during the guided tour. However, please note that visitors should be able to complete the tour in 1½ hour. Should a visitor find it difficult to complete the 3 km tour, it is possible to shorten the tour. It is also possible to book a special 2-hour guided tour, allowing more time to get around. Please contact us for details.

Visually impaired people

For security reasons, unfortunately it is not possible for visually impaired people to bring guide dogs into the underground fortress. You may want to contact the museum in advance so that we can make a companion available for the guided tour.
